Human life is broken into two categories: Producing commercial output at work and consuming commercial input at home. Yet, outside of that lies our true human passion: Playing a soccer game with friends. It's free and it doesn't create anything for sale.

PlayPosse will provide tools for instructors and organizers to teach classes, organize events, and run tournaments.

PlayPosse will be a comprehensive directory for everyone in love with yoga, Argentine Tango, softball, and so on to find local groups, instructors, and clubs.

PlayPosse will bring together the community to share videos, build a knowledge base, and find training partners.

What is a posse?

Remember, in Western movies, when there was a group of deeply bonded outlaws or sheriffs roving the land? Did you ever want to be part of that posse: Live together, travel together and most importantly know each other well to be a well oiled team? The scene or the community of your favorite sport often provides a chance to connect. Though, how boring is it to call it social networking, community building and so on? Everyone does that. Think of yourself as joining a posse!

The dictionary suggests that a posse is a temporarily summoned group of people to help a sheriff or to conduct a search. Imagine how that feels for a moment, the excitement of being called to be part of a rescue search: meeting a few strangers to work together for something meaningful. There is the dark of night, maybe some fog. Everyone is excite, maybe heart pounding. There is a lot of new ground, tools, and activities. When we call for a soccer game or a social Argentine Tango dance, a bunch of people are drawn together from all over the city for a single and exciting purpose. People, whom you haven't meet before, yet all of you know what to do.

PS: When I was a teenager, sweat shirts with hoodies were invented. Or at least, it seemed that way, because they were so popular, cool, and hard to get. The coolest and hippest brand was called 'Posse'. Who knows, they may not exist and nobody but me remembers them at rave parties.
